There has been some discussion the past couple of summers about what to do with the Saturday right after the NazNite Friday at 6 Flags.  Some haven’t really enjoyed the second day at 6 Flags, while some really have.  So, I’m creating a poll to see what the majority wants.  Here are your options.

We can go back to the park on the second day.  With our NazNite tickets, we get a free return ticket that is good from September 5th (that Saturday) through September 27th).  We would then leave sometime in the afternoon.

We can do something else- try to find something else in the area that is fun, and cheap.  Things like malls, putt-putt, etc. come to mind.

Or, we can do something completely different.  If you choose “other,” you must reply in the comments or in an email to Pastor Wes what your suggestion would be.

Good news parents and slacker teens that didn’t register for camp!!

You can view next Wednesday’s teen camp service (which are almost always awesome!) on the web for free.  Live!  As it happens!  Here is the link for viewing.

Since we will not have a teen service here at church during camp week, this would be a great opportunity to stay connected and “attend” a service with us!

The live feed begins at 7:30pm Wednesday, August 5th.

Not alot of details yet, but NazNite at 6 Flags will be on September 4th this year. Mark it on your calendar so you’ll be able to go!

This year, we are helping out Love INC again with their “Meals in the Park” program.  If you dont know what this is, basically Love INC gathers needy neighborhood kids into parks all over town and feeds them free lunches.

We are going to help Monday, July 20- Friday July 24.  This will be from approximately 10AM to 1PM every day.

This is an awesome chance to help those less fortunate than we are.

Here’s the plan… We will meet at the church every morning at 9:30AM, and then ride over to Briar Forest together.  If you need to drive your own vehicle, you are welcome to follow us over there.  We will stay until the meal is finished, and then head on back here.

Please come, and be there for the kids.  I don’t want teens or adults grouping up or playing on phones- I need people there who will spend time with the kids.

Fine!!!  Everyone can stop harrassing me about having a lock-in!!!

Next Friday, July 17th is lock-in time.  Believe it.

Next Sunday, July 19th, will be the last day you can register for camp.  Don’t keep putting it off!

Hey guys- we won’t be able to have open gym tomorrow (july 7)…. but we WILL be back on next Tuesday, July 14th.
